Salary: Circa £60,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Annual Bonus

About the Role

JDR - Just Dynamic Recruitment are pleased to partner exclusively with one of our key clients to recruit an experienced Regional Operations Manager .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of a busy regional operation. You'll lead a team of approximately 30 employees, driving operational performance, customer satisfaction and commercial success.

You'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring service standards remain high, stock accuracy is maintained and customer expectations are consistently met. Working closely with key customers and internal teams, you'll play a central role in improving operational performance, developing people and identifying opportunities for business growth.

This role offers a high level of autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys leading from the front while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As Regional Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 30 employees, creating a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the regional site.
  • Oversee outbound operations, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time.
  • Manage stock control processes, including inventory accuracy, cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
  • Deliver agreed customer service levels and contractual SLA's across all operational activities.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers through regular meetings and proactive communication.
  • Resolve operational and customer issues promptly, providing practical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and generate additional revenue through exceptional service delivery.
  • Take ownership of the site's P&L, managing budgets and driving profitability.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure orders are managed efficiently from receipt through to delivery.
  • Monitor and analyse operational KPI's, producing regular performance reports and implementing improvements where required.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency and service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, compliance and operational best practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in a senior operational leadership role.
  • Experience managing teams within warehousing, logistics, distribution or a similar operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management and inventory control.
  • Experience managing customer service or operational fulfilment teams.
  • Commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets and P&L performance.
  • A proven track record of delivering against customer SLA's and operational KPI's.
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Package & Benefits

  • Circa £60,000 basic salary.

  • 33 days' holiday, including Bank Holidays.

Recruitment Process

First-stage interviews are expected to take place towards the end of July via Microsoft Teams.

The successful candidate is expected to join the business towards the end of August or early September.
