TRADE COUNTER / WORKSHOP OPERATIVE - READING (RG2) - IMMEDIATE START
JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Trade Counter / Workshop Operative for a busy industrial supplies business based in Reading (RG2).
This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role, ideal for someone who is confident using tools and enjoys learning new skills. Full training will be provided.
Reading (RG2)
£12.71 per hour

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm
Duties Include:
- Using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Assembling and repairing products
- Assisting customers at the trade counter
- Picking and preparing orders
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Dealing with customer enquiries and providing excellent service
What We’re Looking For:
- Good practical skills and confidence using tools
- Previous experience in a trade counter, warehouse, workshop, DIY, builders merchant, or similar environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and good English
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
