We are working with a manufacturing business seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who wants to move beyond reactive maintenance into a more proactive, reliability-focused role, helping drive equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site.

The Role:

  • Carrying out fault finding and repairs on production equipment
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and supporting breakdown response
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to reduce repeat failures
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities and track performance
  • Working closely with production, engineering, and support teams
  • Assisting with spares identification and inventory control
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices where required
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping

The Candidate:

  • A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Multi-skilled experience (mechanical & electrical)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience using CMMS / maintenance systems
  • Knowledge of PPM and reliability-based maintenance approaches
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on long-term solutions
