We are looking for temporary staff to provide cover for this business front of house role. The role is a Receptionist position where you will be meeting and greeting customers to the centre as well as full telephonist duties. This is a modern environment where customer service is very important to represent a first class image for the company.
Location: Preston - Docks
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: £12.50 - £12.75
Job Type: Temporary Full Time
Responsibilities/Daily Duties:
- First point of contact for welcoming Customers and Visitors to the site
- Taking telephone calls, passing the calls through to the Sales departments and various other departments
- Accurately taking messages and passing these on via outlook - timely
- Providing refreshments to visitors
- Maintaining the reception and visitor area and ensuring that customers are kept updated
- Assisting with call backs to customers to give updates
- Liaising with other sites and head office
Skills & Experience:
- Well presented and very customer service focused
- Experienced in handling calls and taking messages
- Computer skills including word and outlook
- Previous experience of reception would be beneficial however if you have a confident customer service background and are looking for a varied front of house role this would be ideal
- Answer and manage the telephone system
- Proactive and able to deal with various tasks between calls and visitors to the centre
- Good communication skills at all levels
