Our client in North Preston is a packaging and distribution company mainly within the Fast Moving Commercial Goods Market (FMCG) looking to bring the Accounting function in-house. The client is seeking a Part Time Qualified Financial Controller/Management Accountant to take control of all financials within the business. This role involves working closely with the Managing Director of this rapidly expanding SME business.
Location: Preston
Hours of work: 16 - 25 per week, negotiable; however, flexibility is required.
Job Type: Part Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Managing Director and Management Teams
- Sales and overhead forecasting
- Day-to-day running of the company finances - day-to-day accounts
- Payment processing
- Credit management, invoicing, cash collection
- Balancing, management of banking
- Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts
- VAT Returns and advising on taxable savings (HMRC)
- Project work across the business
- Payroll
