JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaners for a large distribution site based in North Ferriby, HU14.
Main Duties:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming warehouse floors.
- Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, canteens, kitchens, and welfare facilities.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, and locker rooms.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures.
- Cleaning touch points, handrails, doors, and high-traffic areas.
- Operating cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers and buffers (training provided where required).
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and stock shortages.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Working around warehouse operations while maintaining a safe environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work day, night, or rotating shifts as required.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Amazon site.
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed according to schedules and checklists.
- Support site audits and inspections.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in line with COSHH regulations.
We have the following shifts available:
7am-7pm 4 on 4 off Days - £13.30 per hour
7pm-7am 4 on 4 off Nights - £13.90 per hour
