JDR Recruitment (Mansfield) is working in partnership with our leading home delivery client based in Newark to recruit for a number of Drivers Mates / Customer Delivery Assistants to join their team. The induction for this role is taking place on Sunday 21st June 2026 at 9:30am, and successful candidates will join the 5 on, 3 off rota straight afterwards.
Duties of the Role:
- Delivering white goods such as American fridges, televisions, etc. to customer properties, working as part of a 2-man team.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25kg at a time, ensuring strict adherence to manual handling and health and safety at all times.
- Acting as the face of the business, ensuring excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Assisting the driver with navigation and contacting the customer via phone to advise of arrival times.
Shift Pattern:
This role is working a fixed rota of 5 on, 3 off which will include weekends. Please do not apply if you can only commit to Monday to Friday as the shift pattern is fixed and cannot be amended.
Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire - NG24.
