Your day-to-day work:
- You’ll be trusted to deliver high-quality welds across a range of materials and processes, including:
- Welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Working with pipe and structural fabrication
- Processes including FCAW (136), MAG (135), TIG (141) and others
- Welding butts and fillets to a high standard (2mm-30mm thickness)
- Pressure vessels and structural components
- Reading and working confidently to WPS and weld symbols
- Completing self-verification and job documentation for full traceability
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices
- Maintaining PPE and safe working practices at all times
What we’re looking for:
- Valid welding certifications
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds (or equivalent)
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- Strong understanding of weld symbols and procedures
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Pride in quality, accuracy, and consistency
