Your day-to-day work:

  • You’ll be trusted to deliver high-quality welds across a range of materials and processes, including:
  • Welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Working with pipe and structural fabrication
  • Processes including FCAW (136), MAG (135), TIG (141) and others
  • Welding butts and fillets to a high standard (2mm-30mm thickness)
  • Pressure vessels and structural components
  • Reading and working confidently to WPS and weld symbols
  • Completing self-verification and job documentation for full traceability
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices
  • Maintaining PPE and safe working practices at all times

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid welding certifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds (or equivalent)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Strong understanding of weld symbols and procedures
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Pride in quality, accuracy, and consistency
