JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Leyland
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
- Labelling, wrapping, and preparing products for dispatch.
- Stock control and inventory checks.
- Updating stock records using warehouse systems.
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assisting with regular stock takes.
- Working closely with production and logistics teams to meet customer delivery deadlines.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good numeracy and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Basic computer skills.
Desirable Skills (Not essential)
- FLT licence
- Drivers licence
- Experience using warehouse management systems.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
The working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm
1 hour break per day is fully paid, so no deductions
Β£12.71 per hour
