Warehouse Operative in Leyland

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Leyland

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes.
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Labelling, wrapping, and preparing products for dispatch.
• Stock control and inventory checks.
• Updating stock records using warehouse systems.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Assisting with regular stock takes.
• Working closely with production and logistics teams to meet customer delivery deadlines.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Basic computer skills.

Desirable Skills (Not essential)

• FLT licence
• Drivers licence
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

The working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm

1 hour break per day is fully paid, so no deductions

£12.71 per hour
