We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing technical services team. This is a mobile role involving service, maintenance, installation, and breakdown support across a range of client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and install air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and repair faults on systems including splits, VRV/VRF, and chillers
- Carry out leak testing in line with F-Gas regulations
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Attend breakdown callouts on a rota basis
- Complete job reports, commissioning sheets, and timesheets accurately
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to deliver a high level of service
- Support with materials and equipment selection when required
Requirements
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- F-Gas certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining AC and refrigeration systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- IPAF / PASMA / CSCS
- Electrical qualifications (18th Edition)
- Experience with BMS systems, chillers, or AHUs
