We are currently recruiting for a Junior Conveyancer to join a solicitors firm in the Headingley area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced residential property paralegal/assistant who is looking for a step up to manage their own small caseload. You'll be working alongside experienced fee earners, and will play a key role in supporting a caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to residential property conveyancing
  • Support the team in managing client files and maintaining accurate records
  • Coordinate with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders
  • Organise appointments, meetings, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of conveyancing tasks
  • Conduct basic title searches and verify property information using relevant IT systems
  • Ensure all documentation complies with legal standards and internal procedures

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing assistant/paralegal
  • Strong understanding of residential property conveyancing
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
