JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Warehouse Cleaning Supervisors for a large distribution centre based in Kettering, NN15
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of cleaning operatives.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor completion of cleaning schedules.
- Carry out quality inspections and audits of warehouse, offices, welfare facilities, and external areas.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and machinery are operated safely and maintained correctly.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and PPE.
- Deliver induction training and ongoing coaching to cleaning staff.
- Manage attendance, timekeeping, and performance of team members.
- Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations, health and safety policies, and site procedures.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Liaise with Amazon management and other site stakeholders regarding cleaning standards and service delivery.
- Complete administrative duties, including timesheets, reports, and audit records.
Essential Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within cleaning, industrial cleaning, warehousing, or facilities management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible approach to hours and shifts.
We have 2 shift patterns available:
4 on 4 off 7am-7pm Days - £14.50 per hour
4 on 4 off 7pm-7am Nights - £15 per hour
Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks
