Cleaner in Kettering

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Facilities Cleaners to work at a busy Distribution Centre based in Kettering, NN14.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise offices, welfare facilities, canteens, toilets, changing rooms and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors to a high standard.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
• Clean windows, doors and touch points.
• Replenish cleaning supplies as required.
• Respond promptly to spillages and potential safety hazards.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment across the site.

Person Specification

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending and lifting during shifts.
• Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.

Shift Pattern

4 on, 4 off

• Days: 7:00am - 7:00pm
• Nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am

Pay Rates

• Days: £12.71 per hour
• Nights: £13.71 per hour

Additional Information

• Start date: 7th September
• A DBS check is required for this role. The cost of the DBS will be deducted from your salary.
• If you already hold a valid DBS certificate, this would be advantageous.
• Temporary to Permanent opportunity.
