JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Facilities Cleaners to work at a busy Distribution Centre based in Kettering, NN14.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise offices, welfare facilities, canteens, toilets, changing rooms and communal areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors to a high standard.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
- Clean windows, doors and touch points.
- Replenish cleaning supplies as required.
- Respond promptly to spillages and potential safety hazards.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management.
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic working environment across the site.
Person Specification
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending and lifting during shifts.
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.
Shift Pattern
4 on, 4 off
- Days: 7:00am - 7:00pm
- Nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am
Pay Rates
- Days: Β£12.71 per hour
- Nights: Β£13.71 per hour
Additional Information
- Start date: 7th September
- A DBS check is required for this role. The cost of the DBS will be deducted from your salary.
- If you already hold a valid DBS certificate, this would be advantageous.
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity.
