We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers. Days £14.50-£16.25ph plus nights out (tramping available if wanted). Location: Haverfordwest, West Wales. Immediate start. Shift: TBA but day work is between 0400-0600 starts, average 11hr days. Ongoing throughout summer with some permanent opportunities available.

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our clients team based in Haverfordwest.

The role: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 lorry doing straightforward yard to yard work. Number of drops will depend on traffic/waiting time. Usually yard to yard, collection, tip and to yard. Possibly twice.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Driving and operating an HGV Class 1 Lorry in line with safety standards
  • Carrying out site collections and trunks to Cardiff and back to West Wales
  • Operating bulk tipper or walking floor trailers
  • Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

About you: As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence
  • Licence held for a minimum of 24 months
  • Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
  • Previous bulk tipping or walking floor experience required
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service
