Join a leading temperature-controlled supply chain provider offering flexible daily work opportunities in Grimsby. JDR Recruitment Limited (Mansfield) are working in partnership with one of the UK's leading providers of temperature controlled supply chain solutions and we are now recruiting for Handballers / General Operatives to join their Grimsby depot. This is a fantastic opportunity offering temporary / ad-hoc work for the right candidates. Immediate starts are available with inductions weekly, with limited spaces, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading products within a cold store environment
- Manual lifting and handling of goods weighing up to 25kg
- Handballing stock from containers, trailers and pallets
- Sorting, stacking and palletising products for storage and dispatch
- Adhering to health and safety procedures while working to productivity targets in a temperature-controlled environment
Requirements
- Must be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Reliable, hard-working and conscientious
Shifts & Pay Rates
- 06:00-14:00 - £12.71 per hour
- 14:00-22:00 - £12.71 per hour
- 22:00-06:00 - £12.88 per hour
All shifts are Monday to Friday. Shifts are booked daily - flexible shifts to suit your availability!
Location
The site is based near Grimsby docks. Due to the shift times, candidates with own transport are preferred.
Induction and Start Date
Candidates must be available to attend a walk around on site on Tuesday 21st July at 12pm.
