Job Responsibilities:
- Install various types of glass into doors, ensuring precise alignment and secure fit.
- Seal glass edges and joints using putty, foam, or caulking to prevent air and water infiltration.
- Remove and replace broken or damaged glass panels as required.
- Fit and secure door hardware components including hinges, locks, and letterplates.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Apply touch-up paint to glazed or fitted areas as necessary.
- Identify and resolve any issues encountered during the installation process.
- Confirm that glass designs and layouts match project specifications.
- Inspect finished doors for defects or imperfections and report findings appropriately.
- Coordinate and prepare outgoing jobs for dispatch, ensuring the correct items are sent to the proper locations.
- Promptly report any equipment faults or maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety procedures when working with paints, solvents, and other hazardous materials.
