Our client is an expanding, thriving property design, refurbishment and maintenance business looking for a proactive, disciplined, motivated and results-oriented candidate to take the lead for this Commercial Professional responsible for all Commercial activity and Finance Accountants, working closely with the wider management team and operational staff. You will be supporting key business decisions and driving continuous improvement across processes. The company prides itself on teamwork and has an environment that is very open, hardworking, and collaboratively delivers reliable solutions to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Management team and Operations team to manage the commercials of the work from costing through to completion.
- Close liaison with external clients and all departments internally.
- Involvement in bidding for tenders.
- Costing of work and submitting costings.
- Working with the broader management team for all commercials.
- Liaison with clients and attending meetings as necessary.
- Tracking, reporting and management of all costings.
- Sales and overhead forecasting.
- Day-to-day running of the company finances - day-to-day accounts.
- Payment processing, credit management, invoicing, cash collection.
- Balancing and management of banking.
- Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts.
- VAT returns.
- Budget management.

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
- Systems used: Zero, BigChange, AI.
- Commercial background/Quantity surveying experience would be preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking and challenge.

- A cooperative relationship builder who challenges the status quo and drives improvement.
- Energetic, positive, and able to meet deadlines.
This role is working from the office location daily.
What the Company offers:
- Salary - negotiable on experience/background.
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
