JDR Recruitment are looking for Machine Operators / Packers in Little Hulton, M38, to work in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery
- Load raw materials into machines as required
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain correct output
- Identify and report machine faults or quality issues promptly
- Carry out basic cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment
- Packing & Quality Control
- Pack finished products according to specification and order requirements
- Check product quality (length, sealing, cleanliness, count per pack)
- Remove and report defective products
- Label, box, and palletise finished goods correctly
- Health, Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
- Wear required PPE and use equipment safely
- Keep work area clean and tidy (5S standards)
- Comply with food‑grade / hygiene standards where applicable
- Team & Production Support
- Work as part of a team to meet production targets
- Complete basic production paperwork or digital records
- Support colleagues during changeovers or busy periods
Skills & Experience
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Previous experience in manufacturing, factory, or packing roles
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts
- Willingness to learn and operate machinery
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling boxes

- Monday - Friday 6am-2pm - £12.71 per hour
