JDR Recruitment are recruiting for MIG Welder / Fabricators in Bolton.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform heavy duty MIG Welding on structural steel and thick gauge material
- Fabricate components from technical drawings and engineering plans
- Cut, shape and assemble metal sections using appropriate tools and machinery
- Operate Grinders, Saws, Drills and Cutting Torches
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications
- Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks
- Follow Health & Safety procedures
Required Skills
- Proven experience in heavy duty MIG Welding
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Experience working with structural steel and thick materials
- Competent in the use of fabrication tools
- Candidates with any experience of vertical weld, multi run or experience in the truck industry would be of huge interest.
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm
The pay rate is £15 per hour. Temporary to Permanent for the right candidates.
