JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Cleaner to work at a pharmaceutical laboratory based in Deeside.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean laboratories, offices, corridors, changing rooms, and welfare facilities.
- Carry out scheduled cleaning of floors, walls, work surfaces, windows, and equipment exteriors.
- Follow approved cleaning procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Dispose of waste appropriately, including laboratory and controlled waste where authorised.
- Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, sanitiser, and PPE supplies.
- Maintain accurate cleaning records and documentation.
- Report maintenance issues, spillages, contamination risks, or safety concerns.
- Support audits and inspections by ensuring areas remain compliant and inspection-ready.
- Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comply with GMP, Health & Safety, and environmental policies at all times.
Skills and Experience
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
- Understanding of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
