JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Part-Time Cleaner to work at a Supermarket based in Dorking, RH4
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize floors, shelves, entrances, and public areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
- Clean staff areas, toilets, changing rooms, and break rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other surfaces.
- Respond promptly to spillages and potential safety hazards.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Support store opening and closing cleaning tasks.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management.
Person Specification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting during shifts.
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and health and safety guidelines.
- Working 5am - 7:30am 6 days a week (this includes Monday-Friday and 1 day at the weekend)
