Join a forward-thinking company offering a permanent 4-day working week from your very first day. JDR Recruitment are hiring on behalf of their client based in Congleton, CW12. This is a permanent contract from day 1. We are looking for a skilled and experienced welder fabricator.

We require a candidate who can demonstrate the physical strength and dexterity required for welding tasks, as well as superb attention to detail.

Location: Congleton, CW12

Working Hours (4 day working week!): Monday - Thursday 07:00-16:30. Overtime is available on Fridays at time and a half!

Pay Rate: £19 per hour, increasing after a successful 3 month probation.

The Role:

  • Selecting appropriate tools and metals
  • Measuring and assembling round metal pieces
  • Welding mild and stainless steel components
  • Ensuring proper weld integrity
  • Achieving desired strength and appearance of welded joints
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
  • Fabricating components according to engineering drawings
