Join a forward-thinking company offering a permanent 4-day working week from your very first day. JDR Recruitment are hiring on behalf of their client based in Congleton, CW12. This is a permanent contract from day 1.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MIG/TIG Welder. We require a candidate who can demonstrate the physical strength and dexterity required for welding tasks, as well as superb attention to detail.
Location: Congleton, CW12
Working Hours (4 day working week!): Monday - Thursday 07:00-16:30. Overtime is available on Fridays at time and a half!
Pay Rate: £18-19 per hour, depending on experience.
An ideal candidate will be a time-served, experienced welder, as some of the materials can be as thin as 1mm and you’ll be working on cylindrical surfaces.
The Role:
- Selecting appropriate tools and metals
- Measuring and assembling round metal pieces
- Welding mild and stainless steel components
- Ensuring proper weld integrity
- Achieving desired strength and appearance of welded joints
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Fabricating components according to engineering drawings
