Key Responsibilities
- General Cleaning
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum shop floors, aisles, and entrances
- Clean and sanitise shelves, counters, and display areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly
- Dust and wipe down fixtures, equipment, and surfaces
- Customer Areas
- Clean entrances, trolley bays, and checkout areas
- Keep aisles free from spills, debris, and hazards
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming store environment
- Washrooms & Staff Areas
- Clean and sanitise staff toilets and facilities
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Maintain cleanliness in staff rooms and break areas
- Spill Response & Safety
- Respond quickly to spills and breakages
- Use appropriate signage (e.g. wet floor signs) to prevent accidents
