JDR Recruitment Limited (Mansfield) is partnering with a leading UK provider of temperature controlled supply chain solutions and we are recruiting Order Pickers for their Bilsthorpe depot. This is a fantastic opportunity offering temporary-to-permanent employment for the right candidates. Immediate starts are available with weekly inductions, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in the chilled department to order pick palletised stock
- Receive training in the use of PPTs and other MHE to move stock safely around the warehouse
- Process inbound/outbound orders safely and accurately
- Hand-ball items off lorries, with heavy lifting up to 25kg
Preferred candidates have experience operating a PPT or other MHE equipment in a warehouse; training will be provided.
Pay Rate: £13.32 – £13.54 per hour + up to £100 a week (shift allowance shift-dependent and paid weekly). Overtime pay after 39.5 hours.
Location: The site is in Bilsthorpe, NG22, 15‑20 minutes from Mansfield (≈9 miles east) and 20‑25 minutes from Newark (≈10 miles west) via the A617. Own transport required as the location is not served by public transport.
Induction and Start Date: Weekly inductions; first week of training occurs Sunday‑Thursday 4pm‑midnight. Walk‑arounds are conducted weekly due to the temperature controlled environment.
Employment Type: Temporary‑to‑permanent employment with potential conversion to permanent once performance is evaluated.
