Job Purpose
To support the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of aerosol cans/metal containers, ensuring output targets are met while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Duties
- Operate machinery involved in the manufacture of aerosol cans and metal containers.
- Monitor production lines to ensure continuous operation.
- Load raw materials into machinery and remove finished goods.
- Carry out basic machine adjustments where trained.
- Quality Control
- Inspect products for defects (e.g., dents, paint finish, print alignment).
- Perform routine quality checks in line with company standards.
- Record production and quality data accurately.
- Report faults, defects, or inconsistencies to supervisors.
- Health & Safety
- Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Wear required PPE (gloves, safety boots, eyewear, etc.).
- Keep work area clean and hazard-free.
- Immediately report accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintenance & Housekeeping
- Support basic cleaning and maintenance of machinery.
- Keep production areas tidy (5S standards).
- Assist engineers or technicians when required.
- Teamwork & Communication
- Work as part of a shift team to meet daily production quotas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Participate in shift handovers.
