Our client are a leading supplier and are looking for a candidate to fill a temporary to permanent opportunity working alongside a small team in the Warehouse and Logistics Department. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a long term career in an established company in Accrington.
Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing of items of various sizes
- Production work (some cutting of pipes, grinding, painting, and assembly)
- Housekeeping duties & general warehouse work under supervision
- Driving company vehicles (up to flatbed), including loading and unloading of items
- FLT driving (license required) β carrying out safety checks and reporting concerns
- Observe and follow standing operating procedures
- Work to health and safety procedures
- Ensure all tools and equipment are put away and cleaned after use
- General warehouse duties

This is a temporary role and the client is looking for a permanent employee. Hours of work are 8.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week) - overtime available and flexibility required on occasions.
