PARCEL SORTERS REQUIRED to work

TWILIGHTS SHIFTS at a busy logistics company. Operating 24 hours a day in the Carlisle.

Average shift typically starts at 14.00 with a shift typically lasting 8 hrs or until the work is finished .

Work pattern is Sunday - Saturday with many shifts available .

The position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to ensure goods are processed and distributed on time.

Must be Physically Fit as this is hard work with lots of Manual Handling, bending, lifting and twisting.

Good numeracy and literacy skills required to include a good understanding of Postcodes

Job & finish basis, so flexibility is essential as finish times may vary depending on operational requirements

  • During peak periods, shifts may be available across
  • 7 days per week
  • TEMP to PERM opportunity available which means you can get a Permanent job after 12 weeks.

Due to our rural location and lack of public transport, having your own vehicle is essential for this role. Public transport is available however.

Responsibilities/Daily Duties

  • Receive and unload deliveries.
  • Check goods for damage or missing items.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
  • Label and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
  • Move stock around the warehouse.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
  • Always follow Health and Safety procedures.
  • Use handheld scanners or basic warehouse equipment when required.
  • Help with stock checks and keeping inventory accurate.
  • Report damaged goods or equipment to a supervisor.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily targets.
  • Carry out manual handling tasks safely.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and willing to help with different warehouse duties.
