Our Client is a busy logistics company operating 24 hours a day in the Carlisle area are looking for Parcel Sorters for

NIGHTSHIFTS ONLY.

Average shift - 8 hrs.

Typically (between 20.00 - 08.00).

Work pattern is Sunday to Friday - shifts may cover 7 days per week during Peak Periods.

The position involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to ensure goods are processed and distributed on time.

Lots of Bending, Lifting & Twisting.

  • Job & finish basis, so flexibility is essential as finish times may vary depending on operational requirements

Due to our rural location and lack of public transport, having your own vehicle is essential for this role.

Responsibilities/Daily Duties

  • Receive and unload deliveries.
  • Check goods for damage or missing items.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
  • Label and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
  • Move stock around the warehouse.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
  • Follow health and safety rules at all times.
  • Use handheld scanners or basic warehouse equipment when required.
  • Help with stock checks and keeping inventory accurate.
  • Report damaged goods or equipment to a supervisor.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily targets.
  • Carry out manual handling tasks safely.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and willing to help with different warehouse duties.
