The predicted salary is between 10 - 15 £ per hour.
Pay: £12.50 an hour
Shift: Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm with Fridays off, immediate start
Contract: Temporary to permanent
The Role
- Cutting material to specified lengths using saws
- Assembly of metal framework
- Drilling, bolting and riveting parts together
- Assembly and gluing of plastic pipework
- Carry out basic quality checks such as testing ensuring that there are no leaks
- Assembly of steel pipework using specialised equipment
- Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment and pallet trucks
- Maintaining work areas and equipment
- Working from height on occasion up to 3.5 metres
The list is not exhaustive and there are lots of other tasks that go along with this role where full training will be given.
About You
- Have experience reading and working with engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of organisation
- Must have a mechanical ability and aptitude and will have worked with various types of hand tooling
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
- Be reliable and have a willingness to learn and grow with an expanding company
- Flexible with a 'can do' attitude
- Must be quality conscious
- Health & safety awareness
- Good physical strength and dexterity
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Good verbal communication
