- We are looking for a Material Handler
- Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (4 days 7am-7pm then 4 nights 7pm-7am)
- Immediate start

JDR is recruiting for a Material Handler to work in a large manufacturing site in Bridgwater.

The role
As a Material Handler you will be working within a manufacturing / warehouse environment and your duties will be as follows:
- Picking raw materials and moving around the site with bags that are 2.2 metres
- Using the machines to grind trays and sheets
- Processing materials
- Taking material out and moving and then putting into the bags
- Lifting bags onto the platform
- Will be multi skilled role where 15% of the time you will be using the forklift and 85% of the time the role will be a mixture of duties
- Working within a noisy environment
- This role will be a very manual role
Skills and experience
- Available to start soon and are looking for long term work
- Good level of organisation
- A counterbalance licence is a must and happy with in house certificate
- Quick learner
- Strong work ethic and professional approach
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to work both days and nights on a 4 shift pattern
