We are looking for an experienced HR and Safety Coordinator to join our growing client in the Bridgwater, Somerset area.

Competitive salary

Immediate start

Previous experience within Human resources and Health and Safety

37.5 hours per week

9am to 5pm (start and finish times can be flexible if needed)

Permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HR and Safety Coordinator to join a highly reputable client of ours in the Wellington, Somerset area.

HR Administration - The role:

  • General HR administration, maintaining employee records and confidential HR documentation
  • Update and maintain training matrix
  • Provide support with recruitment, onboarding and payroll administration
  • Monitor staff attendance, sickness and leave including tracking SSP

Safety Coordinator - The role:

  • Coordinate health and safety meetings, prepare agendas and minute take
  • Maintain PPE records, inspections and replacement requirements
  • Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
  • Assist with Health and Safety audits

About you:

  • 3-5 years' experience within HR and/or Health and Safety Coordination
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Confident in use of Microsoft office applications such as, Outlook, Word, Excel
