Assembler / Production Operative

The Role

Working as part of a friendly and supportive manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling a range of high‑quality products to specification while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components using hand tools and basic workshop equipment.
  • Read and follow assembly instructions and production drawings.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
  • Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
  • Report any faults or quality issues to supervisors.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience is desirable.
  • Experience using hand tools is advantageous.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
