JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Cleaners to work at a leisure centre based in Brentwood, CM13
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize gym equipment, machines, and weights regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms, showers, toilets, and washroom facilities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout the gym.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products as required.
- Clean reception areas, offices, studios, and communal spaces.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or health and safety concerns to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations and cleaning procedures at all times.
- Respond promptly to cleaning needs during gym operating hours.
- Assist with deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Flexible approach to working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.
We have the following shifts available
- 1pm-6pm
- The leisure centre is open 7 days a week so there is work available Monday - Sunday
- The pay rate is £12.71 per hour
- Candidates must have an enhanced DBS check dated within the last year
