JDR Recruitment (Mansfield) are partnering with a leading distributor based in Bradford to recruit for experienced pickers / packers to join their team. This is a temporary role covering holidays and sickness.
About the role:
- Working in our chilled warehouse, you'll help prepare and pack orders for next-day delivery, ensuring every item meets our high standards.
- You'll support the smooth running of each shift and contribute to a clean, efficient, and friendly work environment.
- Pick / Labelling fresh produce to order, following company procedures.
- Pick fresh goods according to order lists.
- Label packages with correct product information and dates.
- Check items for damage or spoilage.
- Keeping the work area clean and organised.
What we're looking for:
- A team player with a good work ethic.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Willingness to work in a chilled environment and lift heavy items as needed.
- Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
- Friendly, polite, and respectful communication - especially when dealing with customers.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is preferred but not essential.
- Must have own safety boots and Hi-vis vest.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 07:30am - 15:30pm
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, weekly pay.
