JDR Recruitment are recruiting Van Drivers (3.5 tonne) to join our client's team based out of their Bolton depot (BL5), delivering and installing white goods to customers' homes. You'll work as part of a 2-person team, so while some heavy lifting is involved, you'll never be on your own.
This is a fantastic chance to join a national retailer with genuine temp-to-perm potential - and long-term training opportunities to progress to 7.5 tonne driving through their in-house driver development programme.
Role Details:
* Delivering and installing white goods (washing machines, fridges, cookers etc.)
* Customer-facing role - polite, professional manner essential
* Following GPS and completing delivery paperwork accurately
* Heavy lifting as part of a 2-man crew
What You'll Need:
* Full UK Category B (manual) licence
* Previous commercial driving experience
* Confident with UK road signs, driving laws and GPS navigation
* Excellent customer service skills and professional presentation
* 6 points or less on licence - no DR10, CD10 or IN10 offences
* A digital tachograph card is desirable (training provided if needed)
* Successful pre-employment DBS check
* Drug and alcohol test required
* 2 satisfactory employment references required
Pay and Shifts:
* £13.63 per hour (paid weekly)
* Overtime paid at time and a half after 45 hours
* 5 on, 3 off rota (including weekends)
* 7am starts
Induction:
Week commencing 31st May 2026 with immediate start thereafter.
