JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client based in the Blackburn area. Working within the Goods In team, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries, checking stock, and ensuring products are accurately stored within the warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to secure a permanent position with a growing business.

Requirements

  • Valid FLT licence for either Reach Truck or Counterbalance Truck
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Able to perform manual handling tasks as required for warehouse operations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and unloading deliveries
  • Checking delivered quantities against paperwork
  • Booking stock into the warehouse using a handheld device
  • Operating a Reach Truck or Counterbalance FLT as required (this will form a small part of the role)
  • Storing products safely and accurately within the warehouse
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
