JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Bendi FLT Driver to work for a family distribution company based in Skelmersdale. Candidates must have a valid Bendi or Flexi or Pivot licence.
Duties Include:
- Operating the Bendi forklift
- Drive and manoeuvre the articulated truck safely in narrow aisles
- Use the pivoting mast to place and retrieve loads from racking
- Loading and unloading
- Move goods on and off lorries, pallets, and storage racks
- Stack and de-stack materials accurately
- Stock handling
- Put away stock in correct locations
- Pick orders from racking as required
- Rotate stock (e.g., FIFO - first in, first out)
Candidates are not just on a Forklift Truck all day every day - must be prepared to help with warehouse duties in between being on the truck.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. The pay rate is £13.21 per hour. Temporary to Permanent for the right candidate.
