JDR Recruitment are currently supporting a valued client in the search for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join their transport team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability within a well-established business, with consistent weekday hours and early finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in line with road regulations
- Complete pre-planned delivery routes across various locations within South Wales
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure all goods are handled and transported securely
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points - this is a highly customer-facing role
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent the business professionally
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams
- Follow company processes and procedures at all times

Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- No penalty points
- Previous experience driving delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
- Ability to carry out basic vehicle inspections
