We are looking for a Workshop Operative
Days – £12.50 an hour
Location: Wellington, Somerset – Must drive due to location and no public transport
Immediate start
Experience needed: Factory experience and previous hand-tool experience i.e sanding and drilling
Shift: 42 ½ hours per week. Monday – Thursday 07.30 – 17.00 Friday 08.00 – 15.00

JDR is recruiting for a Workshop Operative to work in a manufacturing site in Wellington, Somerset.
The role:
- Sanding of welded products and parts ready to go in shot blaster.
- Quality Control of the product prior to shotblasting
- Operating the shot blaster to get the product ready for spraying.
- The cleaning off and assembly of castings and associated parts
- Any other general factory duties, assisting colleagues as required
About you:
As a Workshop Operative you will have the following skills and experience:
· Start immediately and are looking for long term work
· Previous experience with hand tools
· Able to work up to 42.5 hours a week
· You will be able to travel to Wellington, Somerset
