Are you actively on the market seeking a new opportunity to start the new year in 2026? Do you have experience or knowledge of working within property claims? JDR are currently supporting one of our key clients in Delph (OL3) and this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!
Job Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of claims from first notification to resolution.
- Appoint and oversee network contractors, ensuring timely and effective action.
- Provide accurate, complete information to contractors to meet service requirements.
- Handle enquiries from clients, insurers, contractors, and policyholders professionally and efficiently.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Ensure all claims are handled in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Interpret site-specific data, images, and reports to assess liability, approve or amend scopes and estimates, and challenge or decline claims where appropriate.
- Produce clear, accurate technical reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Maintain ongoing professional development and up-to-date insurance industry knowledge.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Data Protection and Health & Safety.
Key Skills / Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent.
- Claims experience across underground services, drainage or plumbing & heating.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment against deadlines.
- Insurance Qualifications (preferred).
- Excellent Communication skill (verbal and written).
- Strong relationship skills.
- Valid DBS check.
