Our client is an expanding, thriving property design, refurbishment and maintenance business looking for a proactive, disciplined, motivated and results-oriented candidate to take the lead in a finance and business admin role. You will be working closely with the wider management team and operational staff to get involved in various projects around the business, ensuring that you are working closely with the Quantity Surveyor on the commercial aspects. You will be supporting key business decisions and driving continuous improvement across processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the management team and operations team including the quantity surveyor.
  • Close liaison with external clients and all departments internally.
  • Involvement in bidding for tenders.
  • Working with the broader management team for all commercials.
  • Liaison with clients and attending meetings as necessary.
  • Tracking, reporting and management of all costings.
  • Sales and overhead forecasting.
  • Day-to-day running of the company finances - day-to-day accounts.
  • Payment processing.
  • Credit management, invoicing, cash collection.
  • Balancing and management of banking.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts.
  • VAT returns.
  • Budget management.
  • Project work across the business.

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experience with systems such as Zero, BigChange, AISME is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • This role is working from the office location daily.

What the Company offers

  • Salary - negotiable on experience/background.
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Holiday allowance: 25 days plus bank holidays.
