This role involves providing cleaning services across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and possess experience in janitorial work or commercial cleaning. Key Responsibilities:- Deliver professional cleaning services at different client sites as required, covering multiple locations.
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll in designated areas.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently whilst adhering to health and safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities.
- Maintain a flexible approach to cover shifts at short notice, supporting the team as needed.
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple sites.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting up to 20kg.
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Valid UK driving licence (required due to the mobile nature of the role).
