We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Supervisor for our food manufacturer client in the Brompton on Swale area. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience leading a team to join a well-established organisation of over 40 years. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of environmental and equipment hygiene.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide leadership and management for the site hygiene team, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Drive a health and safety culture within the department.
- Ensure that cleaning procedures are written and in place for all cleaning tasks.
- Ensure that the Hygiene Operatives have sufficient training to ensure that they clean to the required standard and in a safe manner.
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork and documentation is in place and completed in a timely manner.
- Inspect finished cleaning standards and ensure corrective actions are completed.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a Hygiene Supervisor role.
- Understanding of Food Safety, Health and Safety and COSHH.
- Experience working within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- People person with great communication skills.
- Experience with leading and supporting a team of people.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:30pm-6am. Successful candidates must be comfortable working night shifts. This is a full time, permanent contract working with the employer.
