Production Operatives Needed in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17

£12.21 per hour increasing following successful sign off of training period.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating.

JDR Recruitment (Mansfield) are partnering with a leading manufacturer of aerosols in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to recruit experienced Production Operatives to join their team. These roles are temporary-to-permanent opportunities, offering a permanent contract after successful completion of training (based on performance, attendance, and conduct).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating machinery and equipment in line with production requirements
  • Handling and mixing raw materials according to strict safety protocols
  • Monitoring production processes and recording data
  • Performing quality checks and reporting any issues
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Running the line/covering supervisor as and when needed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment - some heavy lifting will be required of up to 20kg
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour, increasing following successful completion of training period. Overtime is also available regularly on Saturdays, and is paid at time and a half.
