MIG Welder in Crook, County Durham

A leading engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking a talented MIG Welder to join our dynamic team in the Crook area. This is a permanent role with a two shift pattern, offering the opportunity to be a part of our thriving organisation and contribute to the creation of high quality products.

Working on a two shift pattern of days and late shift.
Monday to Friday 0600-1400 and Monday to Thursday 1400-0000.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in MIG Welding, with the ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A keen interest in the engineering and manufacturing industry, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in MIG, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the craft.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector, bringing valuable knowledge and skills to the table.
• A strong safety-first mindset, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Experience in TIG welding is preferred but not essential

Salary – £32,000-£33,5000
