JDR Recruitment are recruiting for MIG Welder / Fabricators in Bolton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform heavy duty MIG Welding on structural steel and thick gauge material
  • Fabricate components from technical drawings and engineering plans
  • Cut, shape and assemble metal sections using appropriate tools and machinery
  • Operate Grinders, Saws, Drills and Cutting Torches
  • Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications
  • Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in heavy duty MIG Welding
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience working with structural steel and thick materials
  • Competent in the use of fabrication tools
  • Candidates with any experience of vertical weld, multi run or experience in the truck industry would be of huge interest.

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm

The pay rate is £14 per hour. Ongoing work, potentially leading to permanent for the right candidates.
