Are you a competent account manager with experience of working on new and existing business? Do you have experience of handling larger clients within an import / exports type environment? JDR Recruitment are currently supporting one of our key clients in the hunt for their next talent and this could be the perfect role for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Check that the shipping documents are present/in order
• Make Payments to the shipping lines
• Liaise with shipping lines/overseas agents and other forwarding agents
• Ensuring files are fully costed and profitable
• Raising invoices to customers
• Ensuring any queries are resolved as soon as possible
• Check the options re releases (Line Haul/Merchant Haul/Rail)
• Arrange releases, PIN numbers and restitution
• Providing prompt and professional Customer Service to all clients

The Candidate:

• Experience of working with both new and existing clients / customers
• Knowledge of imports / exports processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Working towards deadlines and hitting targets
• Understanding of freight forwarding across land and sea (desirable)
