Days - Monday to Friday

JDR Recruitment are actively looking to recruit a Warehouse Co-ordinator for a client of ours based in Leicester, LE10.

Our client is a sole importer and wholesale distributor for a curtain brand across the UK. They service the market in the UK with their complete range of products typically within 72 hours of ordering.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Co-ordinator to join their busy operations team. Someone that is wanting to progress.

Duties for the experienced Warehouse Co-ordinator will involve managing daily operations ensuring smooth flow of goods in and out of the facility.

  • Order picking and packing
  • Handling and lifting of heavy items, particularly concrete products
  • Operating power tools
  • Performing warehousing duties
  • Maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently up to 2500kg
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid certified counterbalance forklift license up to 2500kg - essential
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and handling
  • A keen and enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Have a bendi license up to 1600kg - desirable but not essential (training can be provided)

Working Pattern:

  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Shift Length: Approximately 8 hours per day – this can vary dependant on work load
  • Start time 09:00am approx.

Pay Rates (PAYE Only):

  • £12.25 – 13.22 per hour (with accrued holiday) dependant on experience
  • Yearly salary £25,500 - £27,500 (for information)
