We are recruiting for Telesales Advisors to join a busy broadband customer service team on a 12-week temporary ongoing assignment, with the opportunity to continue beyond the initial 12 weeks. This is an inbound customer-facing role, speaking to existing residential broadband customers. While the position is titled Telesales Advisor, this is not traditional cold calling. You will be speaking to customers who are already using the service, helping them with their broadband needs and having conversations around retention, upgrades and suitable products.
The role:
- Take inbound calls from existing residential broadband customers
- Understand the customer's needs and reason for calling
- Discuss available broadband products, packages and upgrades
- Handle retention conversations and work to keep customers with the business
- Identify opportunities to offer customers a more suitable product or package
- Provide a professional and helpful customer experience
- Meet individual targets and performance standards
- Accurately record customer information and outcomes
What we're looking for:
- You don't need previous telesales experience. We're interested in people who have:
- Strong communication skills
- A confident and personable telephone manner
- Experience in customer service, sales, contact centres or similar environments
- The ability to listen and understand customer needs
- Confidence having sales and retention conversations
- A target-driven approach
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work in a busy inbound environment
Hours & Pay:
- £13.84 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week
- 12-week minimum temporary assignment
- Ongoing opportunity beyond the initial 12 weeks
- Full-time hours
